The Olympia site visit will last approximately 1 hours where you will have the chance to see the birthplace of the Olympic games, Zeus temple and the stadium. Klio's Honey Farm

Klio's honey farm

Next stop will be Klio's honey farm where a nice rural house will be visited with the nicest owners, explaining the process of the local honey production and exploring the farm fields. During the visit a nice treat is offered tasting local pancakes with honey. You will enjoy the thick shades under the garden trees and get the feeling of the greek rural life. Approximate duration time is 1 hour

We were greeted with a luxury mini bus, and they told us lots of details of the area and where we were headed. Olympia itself was a but underwhelming but we also struggled walking with having elderly family members with us. After that we chose to go to a traditional greek lunch and they brought us to a delicious restaurant that was truly some of the best food we've ever had in our lives. The prices were perfect, portions good and what a great way to experience greece! This was absolutely worth it and would use them again

Charis was a wonderful tour guide.....he was knowledgeable and went out of his way to help us get our VR glasses. He also tailored our tour - he suggested a detour to a wine tasting that was fantastic!!! Lovely location and great wines!

Highly recommend both Charis and the VR glasses to bring Olympia to life!

Nice visit to Olympia

The visit to Olympia was good. Our driver Nickolaos was very nice and informative. The Olympia visit without a guide was a bit challenging, but enjoyable. I would definitely make arrangements to access an audio tour to understand the ruins you are looking at or hire a guide. Nikolaos gave his "lay over" book to walk around with that showed us the original structures compared to the ruins that exist today that provided some information to help guide us. After the visit to Olympia, we very much enjoyed some time at a winery and then a nice, authentic lunch (away from the port). Overall, it was a nice day.

Dropped off at Olympia site, then on to Mountain top monastery then the coast. Marlena was a cheerful and engaging guide. Would recommend.
